Efforts to promote Punjabi language have been initiated from time to time but unfortunately without any effective results.Making Punjabi a compulsory subject till class X will not serve any purpose in revival of Punjabi instead it will definitely overburden already burdened children unless Punjabi is developed and promoted as a job fetching language
